Ride the Monument Valley on a Jeep Tour
Want to cover more ground and see many of the amazing sights and landmarks that the Monument Valley has to offer? Book a guided Monument Valley Jeep tour with Roy Black’s Guided Tours! We offer the best Jeep tours in the area for visitors who want to see it all!
Join us on one of our vehicle tours to discover the main loop of Monument Valley Tribal Park. Our guided Jeep tour starts at the Navajo Mitten View Campground and continues to John Ford’s Point, known for being the location of many of film director John Ford’s westerns, like Stagecoach and more. The site was featured in so many films that it is now known as John Ford’s Point. This promontory at the edge of a plateau overlooks a large area of undulating desert land, punctuated by a few distant peaks, making for incredible photo opportunities.
We also drive to Totem Pole View, home of the slender rock spire known as Totem Pole. Marvel at this wonder that has been touched by time and weather over the years. We then visit Artist’s Point, another breathtaking lookout with Spearhead Mesa to the east. This lookout is often peaceful and less crowded.
Our final stop takes us to the North Window, a gap between the edges of Elephant Butte and Cly Butte. Enjoy distinct views of the desert landscape from a different angle before we head back to the starting point of our Jeep tour.
All of our guides/drivers are experienced and knowledgeable about the area and are happy to share information with you!
